About the Author

Robert C. Martin (Uncle Bob) has been a programmer since 1970. Previously, he served as the Master Craftsman at 8th Light Inc., a Chicago-based software consulting firm; for three years as editor-in-chief of the C++ Report"; and as the first chairperson of the Agile Alliance. Mr. Martin has published dozens of articles in various trade and journals is a regular speaker at international conferences and trade shows. He has written and edited many books, including Clean Code, The Clean Coder, and Clean Architecture (all from Pearson).
